Kochi Metro

Kochi Metro is an under-construction metro system for the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. The first phase is being set up at an estimated cost of 51.81 billion , A 13.4 km section of the line from Aluva to Palarivattom will open in May 2017. A second 5 km section from Palarivattom up to Maharaja's College will be made operational by August 2017.

Naval Base Kochi

It has its Headquarters in Kochi, Kerala at INS Venduruthy, and is commanded by the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief. The Southern Naval Command is the Training Command of Indian Navy and is responsible for the training of all its personnel, both officers as well as sailors, from basic to advance stages.

Cochin Shipyard

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) is the largest ship building and maintenance facility in India. It is part of a line of maritime-related facilities in the port-city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. Of the services provided by the shipyard are building platform supply vessels and double-hulled oil tankers. Presently it is building the first range of indigenous aircraft carriers for the Indian Navy, the Vikrant-class aircraft carriers.

Railway Station

Ernakulam Junction railway station (also known as Ernakulam South, code: ERS) is a major railway junction station in the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. At 158 crore , it is the second largest in terms in passenger revenues in Kerala and the fifth largest of the Southern Railway. It is an A1 classified station operated by the Southern Railway zone of the Indian Railways and comes under the Thiruvananthapuram railway division.

Kochi Refinery

The Kochi Refinery (KR) is a public crude oil refinery in the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. It has a production capacity of 9.5 million tons per annum. Formerly known as Cochin Refineries Limited and later renamed as Kochi Refineries Limited, it was acquired by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited in the year 2006.

FACT

The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited or FACT Ltd, a fertiliser and chemical manufacturing company in Kochi, Kerala, India, was incorporated in 1943, by Maharajah Sree Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma. It is the first fertiliser manufacturing company in independent India and also the largest Central public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) in the State of Kerala.

Infopark

Infopark, Kochi is an information technology park situated in the city of Kochi, Kerala, India. Established in 2004 by the Government of Kerala, Infopark Phase I is spread over a 101 acres campus with 3,200,000 sq ft of operational built-up space, and an additional 2,000,000 sq ft is now under construction, housing over 200 companies which employ close to 32,000 professionals

Cochin International Airport

Cochin International Airport is an international airport situated in the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. Located at Nedumbassery, about 25 km northeast of the city, Cochin International Airport is the first airport in India developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model and was funded by nearly 10,000 non-resident Indians from 30 countries

Vyttila Mobility Hub

Vyttila Mobility Hub is an integrated transit terminal in the city of Kochi. It is designed as a converging point of various forms of public transportation, such as local and long distance buses, metro rail and inland water transport. It is planned over an area of 37 acres in Vyttila

KSRTC Ernakulam

The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is the state-run bus company in Kerala, India. It is one of the oldest state run public bus transport services in India. Approximate driving distance between Ksrtc Bus Stand Ernakulam and Ernakulam South Railway Station is 26 kms.

SmartCity Kochi is an IT Special Economic Zone under construction in Kochi, Kerala in India.SmartCity Kochi is one of the first two projects of SmartCity's vision to build a large network of knowledge-based industry townships across the world. Other being SmartCity Malta, whose first phase was inaugurated in October 2010.
